I am a 2010 graduate of Flomaton High School. Go Canes!!! I graduated from Jefferson Davis Community College in 2012 with an Associate's degree, and graduated in 2016 from the University of West Florida with a dual Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Exceptional Student Education K-12, with ESOL and Reading Endorsements.

I earned my Master's Degree in Collaborative Education (K-6) through the University of Alabama in December 2021. 

I began teaching at Flomaton Elementary School in December 2016. Prior to being a full time teacher, I was a substitute for Escambia County AL Schools. 

While working on my Bachelor's degree, I completed two 100 hour Field Experiences at W.S. Neal Elementary School and completed my teaching internship at A.C. Moore Elementary School. 

I was born and raised in Flomaton, AL, and attended Flomaton Elementary, Middle, and High schools. I had some amazing teachers, which further inspired me to become a teacher myself. I have been at Flomaton Elementary School since December 2016, and I enjoy it tremendously! I love this school, our staff, and our students! FES really is THE BEST!

I am married to Austin Patterson and we have three children, Noah, Sadie Kate, and Savannah. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping, going to the beach, traveling, and watching Alabama football (Roll Tide!)!
