I am a 1994 graduate of Escambia County High School and a 1996 graduate of Jefferson Davis Community College. In 2008 I graduated from The University of South Alabama where I received my B.S. in Elementary Education.
I completed field experience at Belsaw/Mt. Vernon Elementary in Kindergarten, and I completed my student teaching in 4th grade at A.C. Moore Elementary in Atmore, Alabama.

After graduating from USA in December 2008, I was a substitute teacher in Atmore. I was hired August 2009 as a 3rd grade teacher at A.C. Moore Elementary, and the following year I moved to 4th grade and taught there for four years.
I was given the amazing opportunity in 2014 to transfer to FES where I taught 2nd grade for five years. In 2019 I transfered to 5th grade as a self-contained teacher. Then, 2020 I taught 5th grade science and social studies. Now, I am currently the 6th grade ELA teacher. GO CANES!!!
