Fun fact:  This is my 32nd year in education!  I began my teaching career at Century Elementary School teaching 3rd and 4th grade for six years.  I then took the position as Library Media Specialist for two years before transferring to AC Moore Elementary in Atmore, AL.  I loved my time at Century as the librarian so much because I got to work with Pre K - 5th grades! 

While at AC Moore, I worked as the Library Media Specialist for 16 years with 3rd and 4th grade students.  I enjoyed my time there but really missed working with a variety of grade levels so I asked to transfer to Flomaton Elementary.  I LOVE sharing books with all of the students from Pre-Kindergarten all the way to 6th grade!

I love spending time with my family!  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 35 years.  We have two sons, John, who is married (Katie) and Scott,  and two grandsons, Walker (7) and Brooks (5).  We love to play golf together but when I have quiet time, I LOVE to read!  My favorite children's book is The Little Mouse, the Red, Ripe Strawberry and the Big, Hungry Bear!
