I am a 2006 graduate of Flomaton High School and a 2009 graduate of The University of South Alabama. While at USA I received my B.S. in Elementary Education.

I began teaching at FES in January 2010 teaching 6th grade Language Arts. 

I taught 2nd grade from 2010-2013.

I taught 3rd grade self-contained 2013-2014.

I taught 3rd grade Reading 2014-2015.

I taught 3rd and 4th grade ELA from 2015-2019.

This year I am back teaching 3rd grade self-contained and I am loving it! 

I was born and raised in Flomaton. I attended Flomaton Elementary, Middle, and High School and can honestly say I had some awesome teachers, many of whom I have had the chance to be mentored by and work along side. 

I am married to Mike Wedgeworth, also of Flomaton. We are blessed to be the parents of Michael and Maryella, both students at FES. We are members of Little Escambia Baptist Church. We spend most of our free time either watching our son play baseball or our daughter cheering. I also enjoy watching my past and present students play sports at Flomaton (GO CANES)!!!
