I graduated from Ernest Ward High School in 1987.  I then attended Troy State University, and received a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education.  After eight years in the classroom, I decided to move into physical education. I LOVE teaching PE!!!

I began my teaching career in 1994, teaching 2nd grade Chapter I in Madison, Alabama.  I taught 3rd grade at FES for six years, and kindergarten for two.  This is my fifth year in PE!

I am from Walnut Hill, Florida ~ where I graduated from Ernest Ward High School.  I have been married for 34 years to Doug Vickery (aka Coach V), who is the football coach at FHS.  We have four wonderfully awesome kids (Tripp - graduate of the University of Alabama, Cade - who is pursuing an acting career, Avery - who is a 2020 graduate of FHS and Zeb - senior at FHS).  I am also the proud G-momma of Nash Broox - the most precious baby ever!!! I have two brothers and two sisters.  I also coach volleyball, basketball, and JV cheer!
